Meet the Makers: Clyde & Sherri Hutchison
The Backyard Safari Company was founded in 2010 by husband-and-wife team Clyde and Sherri Hutchison in Covington, Georgia.
Sherri remembers being in school and using egg cartons to start her own garden. She wanted to instill the love of growing a plant from seed in this generation of kids. And together, she and Clyde created The Backyard Safari Company as a reflection of their love of nature and the coming together of friends and family.
The Hutchinsons want to celebrate life, enjoy every moment and help people discover adventure in their own backyards.
